How long would a buyers account be shut down if i just opened it after bein suspended
 

Hi. I was suspended around 3 weeks ago, i have already posted it on here. I'm just in the process of getting all the stuff together to open a new sellers account, but in the meen time i want to purchase an item off ebay.

If i just opened a new account in my name and address, how long would it be before they shut it down. Or wouldnt they seeing as though im only buying

There could be nothing on ebay worth wasting an account on like you propose. OK, buyers accounts have less scrutiny but if the new account is a duplication of another, then it will not last. Another point to consider is that your desire to buy an item may put the seller's account under view as well. So if that seller has problems already, may not be fair to them.;)

Think about the item as there should be other options to buy it.:p

I would say ebay would automatically shut that account down very quickly because if you use the same exact information as the account that was shut down then ebay is going to see this. Like last poster said it is not worth wasting a good seller account on.

eBay tends not to link buyer accounts automatically. If about 5 get suspended, then eBay makes the next new one verify the phone number and then won't let anyone use that phone number again for new accounts or change their phone number to that.
