Selling Allowances...

So I am using a stealth account and all is going well with it. My current monthly selling allowances are 100/3500 however I noticed a couple of days ago that I am listing items but the selling allowances are not going down.

For instance I started a Buy It Now listing with 35 items, sold them all but on the Summary page is says I can still list 100 items for the remainder of the month.

I'm not complaining but has anyone else experienced this?!

What category are you listing in?

Be careful don't go over the 100 they could still take the listings down if you go over

That is very strange! I do agree with Callidus that you should take caution and don't go over the 100.

Would not recommend going over limit and risking issues

Re: Selling Allowances...

It is worth noting that some categories do not count towards the selling limits.

If you are listing in these categories then its not going to count towards your limits.

Re: Selling Allowances...

i rember back in the day when the ebay selling limit first came out i made a new acc it was saying i could only sell 10 items. so i did a test with auctiva and i put up 80 listing that's all i had was 80 all of them sold and i got piad this back door only worked for about i would say maybe a years or so. so what i did was i try-ed this again a few weaks ago. it told me i can only list 10 items so i put up 12 i think. it ripped down the other 2 listing in under 24 hours. this ebay is BS all the way. did any one ever learn this trick back then. post i want to see if any ells did this ;=]

Re: Selling Allowances...

Yeah, you could go over through File Exchange and Auctiva, but eventually they closed all the loopholes.

For a while during free listing sales that were only for 5 & 7 & 10 day listings, you could list them at the advertised duration and then edit them to 1 or 3 day listings with no problem/charge, eventually they closed that loophole too.

They frequently rush changes out and then plug the holes later.

Just as @Callidus it said to be very careful because they will take your listing down more than likely and if you're operating a stealth account, you don't want to bring unwanted attention to you hence the name stealth ;)

Re: Selling Allowances...

When I opened an eBay store I had an account do the exact same thing yours is doing. It froze the number of auction listings and never gave me a limit of items to list in the store. So I used that account to list stuff I knew would sell fast many times going over the 10 quantity without any issues yet. However, I do have other accounts so if something happened its no biggie for me.
