using a family members ID

Hi All,

I was wanting to try and use some family members ID and addresses as it is easier when eBay tries to pull the old "show me you ID" trick. However, most of my family are based in Sydney Australia and I am in Brisbane. Would the distance they are away from me look suspicious to eBay and raise a red flag? thanks guys.

Identity theft is illegal

If you have permission of the family member to use the identity, is it still considered identity theft?

No need to use id's from family members shaggydoo, you can create your own stealth accounts using the information you have found in this forum which works perfectly for everyone else and will for you as well.

Using relatives info can create problems down the line if you get them banned and then those relatives won't be very happy with you.

well no, technically not since you have permission.
But if you use another persons info it could leave you with a bad situation.

Since you are selling under another persons real details, you make them liable for taxvat if you do not pay it.

If you get suspended and owe ebay/paypal money, then become liable and get spammed letters etc.. by collections department or worse.

Using a family member's real info is never a good idea.
The whole point of stealth is doing everything under a completely new and unrelated identity which will prevent any of the issues mentioned above by others.
