Buying clothing from Japan

I'm so excited right now, I feel like I'm in shock. I just hit a holy grail.

I usually buy clothing from thrifts and resell for about 50% of my income. Works great but its very time consuming and doesn't always turn profits how I like. For instance the winter months I sell way more because coats/jackets are more expensive.

Well anyways ...I know alot of people on here buy from china wholesale. Well I'm not buying wholesale but I know a few brands that are based in Japan are double what they are here. (usa)

I was searching this particular brand and stumbled upon this reseller, she even has a ebay store but doesn't list everything she has on eBay, she keeps some strictly on the site. This items she doesn't have on eBay are 130$, and on ebay are worth 280$! Thats one item, there are plenty more.

You know the saying work smarter not harder, it finally applies to me. :humble:

My point is for anyone who sells clothing on eBay, if you have brands you know originate from another country I reccomend (if you already haven't) search online to see if you can buy direct. In my case these are limited edition t-shirts which is why they are worth so much on ebay.

Soooooooo happyyyyyy right now.

I can flip $500 to $2500 almost doing nothing it seems like. And no I'm not dropshipping I am having these sent to me first so I can inspect them.

I'm 22 and my goal since I started was to make 6K monthly. The most I've made is about 3K but alot just goes back in to the business. Thats WAYYYY better than alot of people my age so I'm not complaining but this is what I've been looking for since I started. I almost feel like I'm cheating its so easy.

Every business person knows the more you make the more you can invest which inturn means the more you make etc. Well now since I will be able to flip money faster and work less I can even make MORE profit. Yesssssss lol

Congrats man. How fast does your clothing items sell? I haven't dug into the clothing market yet, but it seems a lot of others are doing good in it.

Clothing has a lot of potential...people buy 300+ dollar pair of jeans, it's ridiculous. My 20 dollar JC Penney jeans last me a damn long time :thumb:

Depends on what clothes you sell. If is very profitable. However, the downfall is high returns. budget for about 40% return if the clothes is expensive.

Whoa I only have about 5% return rate if that.

The biggest problem is sellers usually only sell off the "size" alone. BIG mistake. When your talking high end fashion they are cut differently than your average tee from Macys.

Or I'm sure you all have bought shirts that fit "big" or "small" but they are the same size. You have to know what average measurements are for each size and that alone doesn't tell you everything.

The reason why clothing is so AWESOME for stealth is the market is HUGE. Its very diffcult to link accounts because the market is so big its almost impossible too unless your selling one brand wholesale accross accounts.

I would defiantly look into it, its not like you'd be hurting my bottom line. I just sold a pair of pants I bought for 20$ --> 180$. I've found my niches on what sells quick and what doesnt.

Its a learning curve but there is some serious money to be made. Don't not do it because your worried of getting to many returns, thats the most used saying I see when people say they "would" but the returns are to high.

I honestly rarely get returns and I sell alot of clothing. Not just t-shirts, I'm talking all types of clothing.

I sell prom, wedding dresses etc. People tend to want a perfect fit and return if it doesn't. However, when I sell tees and leggings i do not have this problem.
yes sizing is an issue with formal wear and the cut is always different.

Selling clothing under 10$ and your handing your account to the sharks.

Not wise thing to do, but still are plenty sellers who do.

I'm always searching for different niches. I sell cell phone accessories and auto parts right now but I'd love to try the clothing market. How much do you make in sales per day?
