Proxies services 2 buy from other counties

Hey everyone.

I just made a thread about buying clothing from Japan. Apparently you need to use a proxy service to buy items from Japan, not sure what other countries are the same.

I apologize if this is common knowledge too, its a new one for me though. What I'm trying to do is buy from websites directly based in Japan as its about half the cost over there. (amazing)

Well... the particular seller I talked about in my last thread has her own website and sells on eBay so shes kinda of a exception.

My question is are there any proxy services you have USED and like or don't like and why?

I was looking into "from japan limited" but I know there are plenty more out there. I got that from a different forum, but I value information on here wayyyyyyyy more.

Thanks :)

(sorry if this is the wrong section, wasn't sure where to post it)

Asia is an area of interest to me and so I have imported tons of stuff from Japan over the years.

FromJapan is a good company. They've raised their prices a lot over the years, but besides that I don't really have any complaints about them. Check them out first.

If you can understand Japanese, then Baggeforward Japan is a good one. I've also used Celga, Rinkya and Tenso before.

They're pretty much all the same so it's just about what price point is acceptable to you. I haven't used any of them for years but I'm sure things haven't changed too much.

You may want to also check out Rakuten. They're a Japanese online shopping mall comprised of thousands of Japanese vendors that sells just about anything you could want. Think of it as like the Amazon marketplace. They have an English language global site which is mostly just their Japanese site ran through Google Translate, but the majority of the shops on the English language site does ship abroad so you wouldn't need a proxy service to shop there.
