Increase from 10 to 20 items
I just got a increase from 10/500 to 20/1000 a month and i didn't even
sold to the max.I thought this happens at the beginning of the month? |

| Ebay is so unpredictable, sometimes for good or bad! How did you happen to get the increased did automatically do it on it's own by sending you a message in your inbox of eBay? or did you call up ebay? |

This actually happens often, I've had accounts go from 10/$1,000 to 30/$3,000 without having sold my 1st item yet...... |

it can happen at any time. It does not fall onto a specific day of the month. And just because 30 days pass does not GUARANTEE an increase.
Just ship your items right away, enter tracking information and take care of any customer issues and pretty soon the limits won't matter anymore. |

| Sounds safe to say if you're going to get an "instant automatic" increase it will happen within 24 hours of listing an item.
Otherwise you're in for at least a week or more wait.

For example, 100/$5,000.....do you in reality get those limits a month?
Personally I would not want to get to the 200/$20,000 that triggers Paypal asking for SSN, EIN, etc. |

Do I hit the max value of 5k per month? No.
I couldn't care less about PayPals request. When they ask, I serve them cake. Contrary to popular belief, falling to provide PayPal the info they request does NOT always end up limiting your accounts. On all of mine, they simply won't allow me to "add money" to my account, but that's fine, I would NEVER give PayPal money from my bank account.
This is what works for ME, and as I've said before, stealth is NOT one-size-fits-all. |
