15/1500 I have an old Account that has ebay 15/1500 limit on it. (no paypal limit or paypal hold. It is also Linked to a suspended account. I've been told not to ask for increase just wait for auto increase? 1) Wondering how long auto increase will take?
2) Also I have numerous OLD accounts (pre 2010) that are all linked one is suspended indefinitely 1 is mentioned above 4 have 0/0 limits and 1 other has 15/1500 limit. Regarding this last 15/1500 account could I start selling a few items or just wait for limits to be increase on above account. |

If you have a lot of accounts that are already linked then really I would recommend putting time into building up new accounts instead |
slokor | 05-17-2015 11:30 AM | Re: 15/1500 To get an auto increase youll need to actively sell on the account. If you say that pretty much all your accounts are either 0/0 or linked in one way or another to a suspended accounts then selling will only lead to them getting suspended as well.
Better start over fresh and create new accounts and make sure they all remain unlinked and at a ratio of one ebay to one paypal. |
pokerpro | 05-17-2015 02:17 PM | Re: 15/1500 Linked to a suspended account? It's doomed one day anyway, so you might as well just go for it and call in for an increase..... |
bjammin | 05-17-2015 02:26 PM | Re: 15/1500 How long has it been linked to an old account? Seems like if an account was suspended, they would have taken down sooner than later, especially with 2 weeks ago being the week they were slaying accounts across the US. |
CustomerServiceProTip | 05-17-2015 02:27 PM | Re: 15/1500 Surprised that the account is still alive from being linked to suspended account. I would prefer just to make a brand new account to sell on because most likely that account will go down sooner or later.
In regards to your increase, usually when you hit your limits everymonth they'll give you an increase eventually. |
jeffweico | 05-17-2015 02:36 PM | Re: 15/1500 I don't think it hurts to try to work the account. Worst case scenario it gets shut down. I wouldn't want to depend on that account for an income, though.
At the same time, I would start creating new accounts and making sure they cannot be linked to each other. |
pokerpro | 05-17-2015 02:53 PM | Re: 15/1500 I had 15 accounts go down at once years ago, due to them being linked to a account that had been limited 3 years earlier......so, there is no "safe" amount of time that goes by, IMO. |

dallis | 05-17-2015 03:03 PM | Re: 15/1500 Wasting time. These accounts are doomed.
None of them have limits worth a rat's patootie anyway.
Make new ones and forget these, they're all trash anyway. You're just wasting time and energy building them when they're going to fail anyway.
Put the effort into something that's likely to last a while. |
dallis | 05-17-2015 03:03 PM | Re: 15/1500 And the moment you call in they'll see the links and kill them all. |
GhostOfAmazon | 05-17-2015 03:29 PM | Re: 15/1500 If it hasn't been made clear to you yet OP:
Start over. If the account had 500 limits, it would be worth a try, but given the paltry limits it has, don't burn an IP address on it. |
Re: 15/1500 Not worth operating with an account that has link issues |
Re: 15/1500 the accounts have been linked for at least 8 yrs. Quote:
