Paypal limits

Hello there. I recently heard about the £1800 limit or something, and you have to send in docs for paypal. If you lift the limits then foes the £1800 anti money laundering thing still happen?

Also, i wont be able to send in docs as its a bogus name and address. Any help with this?

Thanks.

Yes when you add those documents and it gets accepted, the limit goes away.

With stealth and foofoo information, you need to get creative.

They haven't told me to add documents, just to confirm my account details like name and address.

Aftet i do this do they still ask me for the anti money laundering thing?

Thanks

yes, you need to prove you identity before they remove the receiving limits.

Have you been limited asking for documents for the anti money laundering?
If you have then you need to give them the documents and if they accept them, they will not ask you for the documents for the receiving limits again.

They can ask you for ID for anything they want to in the future though, so still handle your account with care.

I havent been asked for documents. Im just lifting the limit and all i have to do is verify my paypal and confirm my details.

After that, will they still ask me for the anti money laundering thing? Thats my question. Thanks.

explain what you mean by VERIFY?
people use that phrase for so many things?

If you are only adding a virtual credit card to confirm address and a bank account to verify your paypal account, then yes you still need to lift the limits.

The limits only get removed if you give paypal photo id and proof of address.

Re: Paypal limits

An bank account that makes your paypal account say VERIFIED only lifts your withdrawal and sending limits.

It does not lift your receiving limits.

After confirming personal information, then does the anti money laundering thing go? They havent asked for any docs.

Re: Paypal limits

when you click on that it will make you fill in ALL the account info you have on the paypal account. (Name, Address & date of birth)

If you are not on the electoral roll you will fail this check. (which obviously will fail if you are using stealth)

If you fill that form in TWICE it will fail both times and then the 3rd time will ask you to add the documents. (photo ID and utility bill)

You are in the UK and don't know what that is?

It is the voting register, so if you are a REAL person living at an address, you register to vote at.
If you are stealth, you will obviously not be on that.

They check this and the credit reference agencies.

quite interesting this receiving limit question, as I got limited for taking in £8k sales in a mth on an acct that had £1600 receving limit, so had I kept it a little steady, maybe I could have withdrawn much of it out .

You would have though that it would trigger the limit straight away and not after its gone over 5x the limit amount.

It is supposed trigger a limitation for id.

Was the name and address on your account in stealth details?
