I know with etsy the more listings you have the better you come up in search results. Is this true with eBay? I just upgraded from the basic store to the premium because I'm adding a ton of listing.

The more listings I have on an account, the more sales for ALL items I seem to have. But I cannot say for sure that getting a premium store will make a difference. Given the fact that it is cheaper to add listings that way, it would seem the best way to go, at least if you have enough listings to justify the cost.

More listings, more impressions, more sales. Basic rule.

Stores... I've had all levels, and I generally think they're a ripoff.

EB is trying to force us all into opening stores, but the very fact they want me to open a store is just more reason for me not to do it. EB NEVER does anything to benefit the seller. There's always an evil plot somewhere in the works.

I'm sure stores work for some people, though.

If you have an account where you can handle the sales and add the inventory I think stores can be worthwhile. I like them because sometimes I have the inventory where customers purchase multiple items at the same time. Its all relative to what you sell. More than anything your DSRs metrics and history play the biggest role in your listing visibility.

I like stores for my accounts that sell the same type of item....for example, if you sell auto parts for cars, your customers will have an easier time finding related items in the store format than in the standard display.
