Private Proxy Different State
 

I was wondering if ebay will limit your account if you have a different location on a private proxy than the address on my ebay stealth account?

Many here hold the opinion that as long as the IP address matches the country the account is registered in its good enough for stealth purposes.
I myself prefer to be a bit more strict and prefer to match it to the state as well and if possible no more than 100km from the actual address.
If youre buying a dedicated IP address it should possible to do so.
Just watch it with using proxies. Ebay can usually 'sniff' those out.

Yeah specific state doesn't matter much, I've made accounts in CA with an NY ip etc, but you shouldnt be using proxies, get a VPN/VPS instead

What 123 is trying to say is that Ebay isn't too fond of Proxies.

Yeah it may work for the short team but its not a good long term solution, their more susceptible to shared ips being rotated around as well as more likely to be detected by ebay through security software
