Opening Dispute through PP as the Buyer with Stealth Account

Been doing a lot of research with stealth(ing) and started wondering this:

What if you're using your stealth pp account to purchase goods as well and you come across a bad seller- how would this be handled because I'm pretty sure even opening a dispute though pp would be a bad idea for not only the seller but the buyer too, right?

In my case- I have a personal (non-Stealth) pp and eb I generally use for purchasing personal items. A seller sent me a bogus item which I had to unfortunately open a dispute through pp as the seller wasn't complying at all.

I'm sending his crappy item back today but don't want to close the dispute until I get my refund for obvious reasons. Outside of pp he's complying very well now and assures he'll refund me in full as soon as he receives the item but is encouraging me to close the dispute for our sake.

I feel like i'm on eggshells with all this being that I'm in the process of establishing a pp and eb Stealth account by the Guide. Please advise

dont close it...when he refunds you, it automatically closes. if you close it and he decides not to refund you, then you're screwed

*I don't plan on closing this dispute until i'm refunded and I don't mind if the seller wants to wait until the item is delivered (6-10 days) but my concern is if this activity would be considered risking a Stealth account.

Also, I didn't get a tracking number through USPS (only a "customs form #") so hoping the seller doesn't try to say he never received anything.
