How do we handle returns??. I just lost $150 today I think
 

I had about 150 transaction no issues. I just used a random address and when a buyer wanted to make a return I just ask him to ship to to my house through ebay message . Anyway. Now a buyer just hit the return button and printed a label. The package now went to the other address. The address is in the same city so I may be able to just go to their door. However. It does not have my name on it. I think I could use a p.o box but the box won't accept packages not in my name. If I had 4 p.o boxes With my name on them but different address's for each of my stealth accounts Would ebay link me?. How exactly do i run up to 10 ebay accounts with getting all returns back?. If I was you, I'd get an address that I have access to if I was selling items worth that much.

if i sell a item i might want returning like if it's over a £10. Then i allways send a a self stick return label in the order it's worked ok for me.

OPT out of automatic returns under site preferences

So if a buyer either messages you or opens a case for a return, send them a paid postage

Use their email address not eBay messaging, and ask them if they are able to print out postage if you email them a paid postage

I usually ask if they are able to reuse the shipping box it was sent in

Normally they are able to print out postage if emailed and are able to reuse the box shipped in, I use a lot of prepaid priority , so it makes it easy if they can reuse the box, I just email a flat rate postage with my address, they put it on the box and return

I use the UPS store for my address. When you fill out the form, they allow you to put up to 3 names on the mail box without a picture id card. If you try to add a name after, they want id

For returns, I always use an address that I have access to. But I do NOT ship through eBay shipping and I do NOT use their returns process.

When someone requests to return something, I offer to send them a prepaid shipping label, or to schedule a UPS pickup if the item is valuable enough. That adds to the cost, but I have very few returns and my system avoids eBay getting any information I do not want them to have. I have yet to have anyone refuse a prepaid return label.

Every once in a while I get a High Dollar return or we mix a RH and LH etc... and always offer a prepaid label. A couple times we have had people who did not have a printer. I mailed them the label.
