Bidders With No History For Over A Year
 

How do you feel about bidders with no transaction history (buying or selling) for over one year?

I have recently encountered a number of bidders that have not had any transactions for over 12 months at least. All feedback shows 0 under the past month / 6 month / 12 month period. Their overall feedback ranges from the teens to hundreds, with different account creation years.

Now, I know just because you have an ebay account doesn't mean you are constantly buying things from ebay. But the items that are being bid on are items that a number of other sellers are selling and have been selling. So it isn't like there are not other options (and even cheaper than mine).

I've had some sh*tty buyers who haven't paid recently as well, and those people even had recent feedback from other purchases. This is nothing new - maybe the bidders will actually follow through if they win. Or maybe it's competition. However, by taking a look at their bid history, they are also bidding on other items from other sellers. Doesn't mean anything though.

bidders with 0 feedback = new to ebay or scammer or competitor

new to ebay can be a good and bad thing at the same time.

1. don't know how to work the system - less likely to complain when receiving an item. or the opposite they will call up ebay csr and have them put in a return request messing up your seller stats.

people who have lots of buyers feedback can work the system and mess with you on a return.

generally i don't think much about it, i usually try to block buyers that i had bad experiences with that is all.

its hard to find "perfect circumstances" people are people, they return stuff for 1000's of reasons........

and when i purchase like a bulk shipment of items from china their is almost always a percentage of defective products. Human are humans.

It's not 0 feedback bidders. It's bidders with feedback, registered years ago, but no history for over a year. Example: feedback score of 50, registered 2010, but no buying or selling for over a year so it shows 0 under the past month / 6 months / 12 months. But like I said, they are bidding on other seller's items as well....could be competition trying to screw others over, I don't know.

yeah i don't think much about that. wasted energy.

i am not going to lie though, i hate the people who hog up the top part on page 1.

those people need to be careful if you know what i mean.....
