you have their name, number and address - what more do you need for a little fun...
actually after the neg was removed, you could have just cancelled and not sent it out...seeing as you 'knew he was trouble when he walked in'...
I had a nasty buyer and I saved my chicken roast dinner leftovers in the garage til they smelled bad, then gift wrapped them and posted to said imbecile...and for a month, I laughed so hard my chest hurt, whenever I thought of the look on their face.... |
| Gamefreak | 06-28-2015 12:19 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. OP said he was on the BUS@ for checks sake OP, what are you thinking, you have any idea what could happen to you not being able to QUICKLY flee away.... you are asking for trouble. you got the negative removed so let it be.. |
| solefoodbk | 06-28-2015 04:05 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. He got the item then left the negative. He would have left negative if I cancelled it before shipping it anyways..
I think hes stealth which is BS. So the freak buyer buys the same product on this account since 2013. Some other guy just bought the same product the freak buyer flagged and has a account since 1999. Well.. he SELLS the same stuff the freak buyer buys...
And their address is only a 20 minute drive from each other. Its really not hard to connect the dots with this one.
I have yet to have this problem since selling on eBay, it was only a matter of time.
I'm going to send something to his address regardless, just don't what yet. Hahaha..
I will get the last laugh...
And if it means I buy from his main account and ....:ban?: with 5 negatives and cases I will do it.
2 can play at this game. Business 101 |

Alright now I haven't done this myself, just yet.
I got this guy who left me negative on a newish account that I spent ALOT of time working on. I did get the negative removed, after the 4th rep I talked to.
The guy after buying it immediately sent me a message "when are you shipping this"? I replied back thinking okay hes impatient w/e...
Well he then gets the item and then says I lied about the listing blah blah blah.
I respond to him via ebay message and ask why would you give me a negative, did I offend you etc. etc.
He replies back almost instantly which kinda leads me to believe he just is one of those negative human beings that wants to spread the negativity to whomever he is contact with. He keeps messaging me but I won't respond to him because I know he just wants to argue which is pointless. I did block him but as we all know once a message is started they can always still message even when blocked.
Now hes only about 1 1/2 hour away from where I live. I'm VERY tempted to take a bus out to his home and just confront him and see what happens. I know we ALL have had this fantasy in one way or another..
He made me waste 3 hours out of my day and it would be VERY rewarding to see him coward in front of me if I do this.
Has ANYONE ever done this?
I don't have intentions to have anything become physical, I just would like to have man to man conversation ....without a computer to hide behind :bounce: | Yes I've confronted a seller the other way around at a Flea Market and got some money back it's not over yet with this guy. I told him straight up I'm going to put you out of business. I also took the red Ice drink I was drinking and posted it on his table ruining all the phake polos he was selling  |
| solefoodbk | 06-28-2015 06:28 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. Yea I mean I don't know YET if this guy that just bought my other item is linked with the freak buyer BUT if he is I will ruin his account.
I don't even need to see him in person if its the same person. He has a 99' account and I WILL get him banned or make it very hard to keep selling... its really not that hard.
My stealths go deep.
He has NO IDEA what hes getting himself into if he thinks he can buy two of my items and give me another negative because I removed his first one. |
Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. Wow solefoodbk...for 1 guy... Principle I understand but profit margin... |
| solefoodbk | 06-28-2015 08:23 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. If he try's to ruin my account I will ruin his before mine, yes. |
| two3aight1 | 06-29-2015 03:08 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. Man look. Go to his house at night, and smash his car windows with the little white part from a spark plug. Instant quite shadder. And leave an ebay sticker on the hood or something so he knows it was you! Hahahaha
IM ONLY KIDDING DUDE. Just forget about the guy. More money to be made |
| yotano211 | 06-29-2015 09:02 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. You can always go to his/her house and throw a Molotov cocktail at the house/car.
Do it at night and go in skates or bike so no one will see the plates. |

Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. There will always be competitors out there in the world as long as it involves money to be made. And there will always be people out there trying to ruin someone else so they can make the profits and not the other guy. Sadly, It's just part of the world we live in. |
| nodeal | 06-30-2015 12:41 AM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. you can do a lot of damage with someone's name and address, to the point where it isn't worth physically going there for a face to face confrontation. Do you have their phone number too? |

| solefoodbk | 06-30-2015 02:29 PM | Re: Confronting a buyer in person, The Ebay Fantasy. LMFAO
:pound:
The buyer had opened a return request a couple days ago. I waited till the last day to respond and I sent him a partial refund of $2.50. He obviously declined it.
He then opens up a case against me, calls ebay to escalate it.
I just called them and got the case sided in MY FAVOR!
Here's the kicker........ I HAD A 14 DAY RETURN POLICY ON THE ITEM!
I got eBay to side the case in my favor on a case where he wanted to return the item and I had the 14 day return clearly stated in my listing. It was the 2nd attempt, the first rep said I had to wait and let the process run its course and I'd get a "email regarding their decision"
It says "This case was found in your favor because this item isn't eligible for eBay Buyer Protection. Any feedback left, including detailed seller ratings, will be removed and won't affect your seller performance standing. Note: It could take up to 24 hours for your Seller Dashboard to reflect this decision."
When you click on the listing it SAYS "covered by ebays money back guarantee" The power of communication.
:cheer:
This is testament to eBays lack of awareness on whats going on.
He could do a charge back on his credit card but its only $25 dollars...This is truly priceless.
I got BOTH defects removed and still got his money. And he has my feedback still on his account hahaha |

Start thinking more clearly.
You have had your fun. You have the upper hand too.
BUT to really win, you shelve thinking of revenge for the moment.
I quote to you Revenge is a better dish served cold.
Apply that and go forwards with selling heaps more
