Ebay and Paypal- separate companies- Biggest effect on us?

So far all I've really gathered from the notices is that E5ay and PP will be sharing certain info between them, which I assumed was already the case since day 1...

And I did notice that they both have ways for a buyer to open a dispute within each system- so if they're not satisfied with a dispute conclusion with one, they can file again with the other...

Are there any other major ways sellers will notice the change on a level that we really feel from day to day? Is it just me or are some of my limits being raised at a faster pace than before? Is the faster Paypal-to-bank transfers a result of this somehow?

Any other major changes you think will happen on a daily/practical level we can look forward to/prepare for...?

No, most things will go on just as they were. eBay and PayPal have a 5 year agreement in place that will assure things go pretty much as they always have.

After 5 years, eBay can start their own payment processing company. But we don't know if that will happen or not. eBay COULD bring new payment processors in from day 1, but they have to pay a penalty of PayPal's share of user transactions dips below a certain percentage - I think it is 80% but I am not sure. So, I don't see a whole lot happening in the immediate future.

Never say never jeff.
They just introduced this double dispute process so obviously theyre getting creative with the ways they make the lives of sellers more miserable.
The only question is what will they think of next...

The only thing I could see happening in the near term is fee increases. eBay's revenues as a separate company are expected to be FLAT. Wall Street does not like flat revenues. The easiest way for eBay to change this would be fee increases. Remember when it cost like $2 just to list an item for 7 days, regardless if it sold or not? I would hate to go back to those days. It was very difficult to list items in volume, especially if you knew only a few would sell.
