First stealth 0 seller limit?
 

Title says it all...

made my first stealth account.. went to sell an item today.
account was limited to £0/0 and can list 0 items.

eBay wants me to link my bank account to my paypal already? Eventhough i used a VCC?

info i used:

VCC entropay
dongle
pay as you go phone
gave paypal all the details they needed but didn't add bank account (though that was something you did last?)

Not sure if i'm missing something? Also the account hasn't been banned or anything so i just make another ebay account and use same PP?

I believe you must link a bank prior to actually trying to sell.

its a little more important with UK accounts

Well i've done everything apart from add my bank account.
Added a VVC (entropay)
added my phone (verified that)
Just didn't do the bank account.

I was under the impression you add this last to make sure the account is okay first or have I done it wrong ?

Would it be okay to add my bank account now ? or is this a "dead" account... just remake a new one ?

okay I will verify / add a bank account to the PayPal tonight... hopefully this will sort the issue..

One thing that i'm abit confused about people who sell accounts surely don't add the bank accounts... so how comes this has happened to me or have i done something abit wrong when making the stealth account?

Only way to verify a PayPal fully is with a bank account :thumb:

You can either add bank account AND VCC and verify both of them, in which case you really shouldn't run into any problems, if you don't make any silly mistakes or you can just add VCC, verify it and hope for the best. Adding bank account seems to make things stronger and I have yet to experience 0/0 limits when adding both. If I use just VCC then it seems that MOST of the time I don't run into any problems, but if you do it quickly and skip the browsing and cookie building, you might get the 0/0 limit.

Even with just VCC verification, doesn't take much time and effort to make it slightly stronger by just browsing and bidding.
I do advise adding back account tho- So much safer and easier.

VCC confirm a PayPal
Bank account verifies a PayPal. Only a bank account can verify a PayPal

Using the correct terminology is very important to prevent confussion.

No confusion lukec2000, creating new accounts for the rest of us is very different to how account sellers create their's to sell on, just follow the golden rules and come back here regularly to make sure you don't drift off track and make mistakes.

thanks for the replies just wanted to make sure i haven't messed up making the account somehow.

I will add the bank account to the PP tonight and the limit should lift :)

Forum sellers have to follow the same rules as everyone else to make accounts :)

Yeah that's why I got a bit confused about the limitation... because i know the PP accounts are not linked to a bank account so the buyer can just add theirs.

That's why i wanted to double check before adding my bank account :)

You dont need a bank account added to Paypal in order to receive selling limits above 0/0. I usually add bank account after creating the sellers account portion.

I also add my bank info after. At first I verified all my paypals and still got the 0/00..on some.
It does help! Ebay even says that when you call in but it doesn't exactly keep you from the 0 limits :/

0/0 is quickly and easily fixed with a phone call to eBay....so are the "new" MC999s, and just about any other limitation/suspension on BRAND NEW accounts.

bank account added, limited removed thanks for the help :)

just one quick question as title says this is my first stealth account I'm still learning... But is the general rule. 1 PP / Per eBay account to avoid losing them all / linking any accounts together?
