Ebay limits raised in 45 days on junky account

FROM EBAY TODAY:

Hi christopher,

Congratulations! You've been doing a great job selling on eBay and we've noticed. How would you like to list even more? Now you can.

Here's how much you can now list every month:

User ID: XXXXXXXXX

Items: 10 to 20 Items

Amount: C $1,000.00 to C $1,500.00

-- This Ebay account is less than 1.5 months old.

-- I sold only 9 risky "recipes", sent by email, I even say that in the listing heading.

-- So i have only 9 feedback, not selling to the limit.

-- Listed a legit item as my first item the same day as I opened the ebay account then after 2 days deleted it and put the garbage recipes up for quick feedback.

-- I realize this increase is very low but it was quick with risky items... This proves it is automated because if a person reviewed my account first it would of been suspended for sure.

-- I think the low limit/quantity raise is because i was only selling 0.99 items and didn't sell to my full limits which by the way started out at 10/$1000

-- The paypal and ebay account have no bank account added either.

I plan to treat the account better now after getting through that mess.

This might be well known by most.. Just thought I'd share.

Quite lucky, seen millions this type of accounts shut down.

He's right.

Additionally, since you sold crap, your chances of a "random" suspension in the future are higher, due to any human who looks over your account history will be able to see that you sold digital junk (huge no-no for eBay). They will sometimes let people who sell digital access codes slide for a while, but recipes are obviously feedback manipulation.

You got lucky and I wouldn't be surprised if eBays bots suspended you in the future.

I agree 100%

If you're just playing around with extra accounts that you don't really need, then its fun to try your luck.

Some last/some don't.

lol.

Some people think buying recipes increases scrutiny on your account. I've never had any negative sanctions taken against my accounts because of it, but when you can buy real stuff from China for the same price, I don't really see the advantage, given that all "buyer feedback" is pretty much the same.
