Ebay asking for receipts of purchases
 

Hi. I use to sell codes for games like 3 years ago like beta codes and online passes. Ebay suspended my listing abilities, and said they wanted receipts of the purchases, but I had no receipts for these codes.

I told them this, and they said they couldn't do anything. I called them last month and the person said you'll receive an email to solve the problem, and I got no email.

What are my options here? This is frustrating because there is so much money to be made on ebay, but they suspend any account I make because this one has problems.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

You need to take severals steps to solve your problems.

First of all you need to get the stealth guide. Read it and read the forum. Try to understand how this whole "stealth" thing works.

You will then be able to create as many account as you can manage, unlinked one from the other so if anything goes wrong for one, the other will still be operative.

The main problem you have is the items you are selling. That will always get you into trouble.

Be prepared to kill a lot of accounts or... change your business plan.

Welcome to the forums - not much options left for this old account, sadly. eB and PP don't like digital delivery stuff too much.

Make new backup accounts and clean up your operations like ilcarletto stated

I thought eBay does not allow intangible goods? Items that are delivered electronically like eBook, game codes, downloadable software, etc. are not allowed because eBay cannot verify the delivery.
