remember working for some small business when i was 16/17 who did really well. They had a quiet period and I asked the owner why he didn't advertise or something and he said 'because i put extra effort in when my sales are good, its better to increase sales by 50% when your sales are high not low' always stuck in my mind so i just relax or focus/research new business ideas when its quieter.
Opposite for me though, I'll be having a month off during December, royal mail managed to lose like 10%+ of my items last year and ruin multiple ebay accounts |
