Default Why does EB allow buyer to post FB and not pay?

I now have an 88% seller rating on a year old account that was 100%. Now I have quantity restrictions when I didn't due to a competitor buying 3 of my items and not paying. 2 seconds after buying the buyer (competitor) left very negative FB. How can EB allow buyers to post FB seconds after buying and not even paying? Not only that the 3 different buyer accounts were created the same day as the purchases. That's just messed up and now can't sell for 90 days on my best account.

Surely if you can prove all that you have said you can report the buyer for malicious feedback.

Of course I can prove it. That goes without saying but that's not what my thread is about. I reported it but don't really know if EB does anything?

Just report it and open 'item not paid' cases for all the items.
The feedbacks will be removed and you wont suffer defects for those.

I did. Any idea how long that process takes as it has really screwed me up not being able to list anything I normally sell?

If you call in, they will remove it right away. This is so against ebay policy, it's not even funny.

As far as your restrictions tho. When did all this happen? When did you sell the product, and when did your selling get restricted? How many feedback do you have, that 3 bad ones got you so low? Also, how do you know it's your compeition? And do you know who exactly?

I just got a case overturned in my favor from a buyer wanting to return something AND I was offering a 14 day return policy.

Not to get into the details of what happened but if I can get mine removed, you CAN get this removed.

Call in.

Please tell me what your thread is about then?

There was me thinking it was a thread about malicious feedback.

Or rather it was, before you edited your original opening post significantly.....by which time I had already replied before you finished the edit.

Report it and block. If you want buyer to stop leaving feedback upon purchase, you must make the auction a pay-immediately type

Should be a breeze to rectify. Contact ebay, if possible, via email.

The only way something happens when you report someone is if they have other reports saying the same thing. That's in regards to a BUYER.

If you flag a sellers account for someone having a "misleading title" eBays computer system will most likely run a scan threw your account and if it picks up what the buyer complained about then its effective in that sense.

This is why its so easy to flag a competitor and have them shutdown.

Its not like someone is manually reviewing all these "reports". Thats where all the issues come into play because if a competitor has like 20 accounts and flags your account with ALL 20 of their stealths then your screwed and 9/10 the computer will place indefinite restriction, which is almost impossible to overturn.

Its also worth noting that if a niche becomes highly complained about... even if your selling genuine items, this niche becomes near-impossible to list in again!

So if your a competitor going around reporting rivals accounts and flagging them, brace yourself, because in time you will be forced out of your own product niche. Everyone loses out in the end! :(
