Selling high risk items

Hey guys. I was planning on buying stealth account on here that has around 25 feedback already and a few items sold. I was wondering what steps I need to take as I will be selling used mobile phones that I buy from my local gumtree. I don't want to get suspended so any help will be grateful.

I want to sell them as auctions starting at 0 and I won't be doing any BIN

Thanks

Even with the 25 feedback....you should introduce the phones slowly, you can't just all of the sudden have 20-30 phones on Ebay. You should follow all Stealth rules which includes building some cookies, etc.

Start with 1-3 phones that are in the lowest price range and build up from there.

Welcome to the forums MrNewGuy - read around the forums, build your experience then make decisions to sell. You may need to experiment a lot to see what works for you - all the best.

I would start with mobile accessories

Remember that are "seller feedbacks" the ones who matters...

if you get an account with 22 buyer feedbacks and just 3 sellers feedback it is quite a young one.

High risk products always have the possibility of causing problems, regardless of feedback. That is why they are "high risk" ;)

Excellent advice.

Remember: eBay is essentially giving you a line of credit. If you start selling $300 items, they're going to look a LOT closer on your account than if you were selling $30 items. Don't squander your investment of several hundred dollars by losing the account due to greed.

Also, mix it up, add a few other things into the mix. Kinda start like you are just getting rid of old stuff....

I have found much more success in listing 10 completely different category items then 10 in the same. Plus it could help build your feedback...

If you are up to it, then you can call ebay and have the rep walk you through a couple of listings. Its less likely to get you flagged if you help. Although this can be time consuming and have answers ready, but dont sound too much of a pro.

Agree with the other guys . I would act like I was just getting rid of old chargers / cases/ accessories . Throwing the mobile phones in gradually.
