Re: question

Unless the names match....that Greendot is going to either reject the deposits of they are going to hold the funds.

Someone told me that green dot gets a fresh account limited right away. That's all I'm scared of

Re: question

The question is if Paypal will even allow you to add the bank account to begin with.
From my experience the answer is no. If the account is blacklisted then youll have a problem adding it manually. You can always try calling in and adding it that way though but is it really worth the hassle when there are literally hundreds of banks out there you can open an account with that will cause no problems whatsoever? Why bother with a potential issue if you don't absolutely have to. At least that's the way I look at it.

Re: question

if you want a prepaid debit card and you have matching names you get get at least 100 options without using greendot.
Now if you have mismatched names, you still have dozens if not more options. Keep in mind they are just bank accounts to begin with, so IMO it is better to use a bank that offers them or just a bank account to begin with.

I think you are misunderstanding. This is a in good standing account about 2 weeks old. 2 successful sales only though. I could sell normally on it if I wanted to now. The question I have is that the PayPal is verified to a vba at the moment. Real bank is out of the question because of the chex system of the person I am making it for. Greendot I like is because you can use the funds before they send you the stupid personalized card. Well I meant rush but same thing. Th account isn't blacklisted at all but I heard green dot is? So if I add a secondary bank to it which is the rush card then will this cause problems?

Re: question

The problem I believe is that a lot of these types of accounts such as GreenDot are being blacklisted by PayPal due to abuse.

Yeah that's what I heard but I wonder if the vba and being verified already helps or not.

Re: question

Green Dot seems to be a hit or miss with paypal. Some say it always works, some ay it never works and others say both ha! I would suggest not using green dot at all because their fees alone are crazy high! If you google "checkless checking accounts" you will get a whole list of better options, sometimes even ratings on fees and customer service
