Change personal info on suspended account
 

If on my suspended account i change all personal info to another persons name,

Whats to stop me then making another account in my name???

Im gathering this wont work as would be to easy but what are the reasons it wont work??

ebay stores every piece of information you ever give them. CC, Bank accounts, telephone numbers, addresses and of course names. They will have this info well after you no longer walk on this earth.

No.

They have terabytes upon terabytes of storage space, and every piece of info you give them is stored forever.

Changing the info doesn't delete it from there hard-drives.

It won't work because that name, address, phone combo if forever stored in their system.

That is the best way I can put it.

You can make another account in your name, just need a different address and phone number...

If your name is not completely unique, you probably COULD create another account with it if everything else was different. For example, I'm sure there is more than ONE Harry Smith in the UK. But if there are too many similarities, then the accounts will be linked. Changing your name on eBay does nothing because you cannot erase the original information from their system. They store EVERYTHING, every account number, names, addresses, dates of birth, whatever the UK equivalent of a Social Security Number is, buying history, selling history, etc.

We live in a time when 5 Terabyte hard drives can be had for $300, and eBay has LOTS AND LOTS of hard drives. In fact, they have one of the best data warehouses in the world!

In other words, your delete key is pretty much useless.
