eBay case opened for payment with Skrill?

Hello there.

I recently knew about this forum. I've learned a lot here! Thanks everyone.

I've been selling on eBay for a year, accepting payments by PayPal, until suddenly PayPal limited my account. Now I'm going to accept only Skrill for high value items.

When I sold items and the buyer pays with PayPal and then opens a case/claim, there will be a hold of the payment in PayPal account, if the account has 0 balance, the balance will be temporarily negative.

Now my question is: When I sell and the buyer pays through Skrill, and he then opens a case/claim in eBay, will my Skrill account be affected?

Thanks

It shouldn't.

I don't see how eBay could do this. The only way this happened before was because they owned PayPal. I'd be shocked if eBay could do anything. They're not a bank so unless it's court ordered I can't imagine eBay doing anything. They can't once the money hits our bank account, should be the same thing with this.

Can someone pay via PayPal and funds show up in your skrill?

If so....

Why aren't they more popular of an option?

No, if someone pays with PayPal, the funds show in PayPal.

Now that PayPal and eBay are different companies, do you still get the money held in PayPal when someone files a dispute in eBay?

Havent had it happen so don't know.

So if I went to your listing and wanted to buy from you I couldn't use my paypal balance? Do you only accept buyers with credit cards?

I gotta imagine that limits business big time.

I used to accept PayPal, until PayPal permanently limited my account! Now I'm looking for an alternative.

It's a personal account, I sell whatever I don't use. But I mostly sell expensive watch and their parts (straps, bracelets, etc.). Most people actually pay with credit cards for high value items, even if they use PayPal.
