eBay Indexing/ Search problems

Some items have been disappearing from my accounts even without revising it. I dont know whats going on. there in " Active" but cant even find them when I go on my seller account id and view sellers items.

When I end the listing and create a new one it appears both on search and on store within 10 minutes.

Did any body go through this recently?

Sometimes it takes 24 hours for a product to show. This happens more often on new accounts

I am not talking about new accounts. those are established top rated power seller accounts and again WHEN I END THE LISTING AND LIST IT AGAIN IT APPEARS IN 15 MINUTES.

But, I dont want to lose my "sold" number.

Right.
Throttling is done most on OLD and BIGGER accounts. Basically ebay turns your visibility on and off to make room for other sellers. The more flooded the market the more throttling will occur.

Thats great to know. But, is it normal that even when I manually click on my user id and look at my store ( as a buyer), some of the items are not there?

This has never happened to me before.

Is there any solution to throttling? I could not find any so far

Sure. The top 3 are:
1.) Use multiple accounts.
2.) Run auctions.
3.) Have as many unique listings for the same popular items as possible.

problem is i never work with accounts with selling history.

All of my accounts have no sell history.. YES, they are old accounts; Least 5 - 7 years old accounts but they are not seller accounts.. i don't wait 3 months to build a good selling history.

I generally buy a few items to get feedback and i try to make as much as money i can with this account until it is suspended.

I have like 1000 accounts from 2009-2010.. But none of them has a long selling history.

:)

Does that mean that i have to sell all my items as auctions? Or i have to list an auction to attract more visibility to my BIN sell?

If all your accounts are new selling accounts you will not notice throttling.

Auctions do not have throttling. They never "turn off" or become temporarily invisible.

thanks for the advice.

However i have created a new account , 1.5 month ago and now it is selling.. price is very low, lower than my all rivals but sell is still slow..

I strongly believe that new accounts are affected by throttling now..
