eBay/Paypal Starting Over
 

Alright so I had 1 account about 3 years ago and like many of you, it was banned. So I have now moved a few states over and have new everything. Address, ip, phone number, the works. I know this question may have been asked but I cannot find it, sorry! Am I good to make a new eb/pp account in my name again with all new info and be safe? Also when it comes time to verify my info I can just give them an EIN number and be good to go right?

Did you ever give PayPal your SSN on the old account?

If your name is reasonably common, you may be home free being in a different state.

But it really does not matter, because the beauty of stealth is that we can use any names that we like.

You can give them an EIN instead of an SSN for TAX REPORTING purposes, but if they specifically request an SSN for IDENTITY VERIFICATION, then an EIN will not work.

Ebay makes a usual habit of looking up people's info using public databases.
If and when they do for a new account that youll open in your real name it will register the new official address you have and link it to the one used previously.
Just go full out stealth. And open more than one account. Spread your sales across multiple accounts and youll never need an EIN and youll be sure to never get shut down completely - assuming you follow proper stealth and keep all your accounts fully separated.

I think you will be ok unless somehow you are using the same PC with the cookies and flash cookies from all those years ago etc. Its possible you get linked but personally I doubt it. Like one other member mentioned hopefully if you plan to sell you didn't upload your SSN with PayPal all those years ago. Remember make sure no info is the same. Phone number, etc. I still suggest getting the stealth guide to educate yourself on the process especially if you plan on being a serious seller. As the other member mentioned having a backup plan and stealth accounts on the side as a seller is a must.
