eBay going crazy with limit increases!
 

Last week I posted how they increased my limits 10 fold on one stealth account.

Friday they increased another one from 100/10000 to 1000/100,000, (this has 4.7% defect rate so I wasn't expecting limit increases any time soon)

Today, they increased one that had 2500/300,000 (my legit business account, powerseller less than 1% defect rate) to 30,000/4,000,000!

i opened a stealth couple days ago and got a 500 / 10,000 allowance, dont need that much but not going to complain.:noidea:

let us know how your doing it mate.i have 3 accounts stuck on 10 items per month for past year.

I know US guys are getting some sporadic amounts as of the recent split. UK guys are also getting these increases, but I would say double allowances, not 10 fold.

If your not getting it, wait it out. Not all my accounts got it same time, but they did all get it eventually.

Read all kinds of business articles about both since split. Ebay growth not good so this might be their answer to it.

I'm also thinking it's a trap, so I'm increasing my listings very very gradually.

Trust me, its not a trap.

The bot for whatever reason generated you this increase. It is although the irony that if you did list to your limit by the end of the week of COURSE you would be suspended indefinitely for having a "high risk account", so I guess in a way its a "trap".

Just be smart.

Lots of people got 10x increases. It seems that EB has banned too much people, and now wants old sellers to sell more.

havent done anything different than normal, i always open paypal and fully verify it ect and lift all limits before i open an ebay account.

Other than my main selling acct with real info these accounts had not received limit increases for a year. I have about 6 of these 100/10000 ish accounts and the two I received 10x increases are ones I made myself, listed to limits each month, and no defects in the last 4 to 5 months...
