One would imagine Manufacturers and distributors.

Example: Ford Dealership gets Ford vehicles from Ford.
Walmart gets Proctor and Gable products from Proctor and Gamble

You need to get a state tax id & retail license, Then you can approach Wholesalers. Wholesalers won't talk with you without a tax ID. Also a lot of wholesalers won't deal with you if you only sell on ebay/amazon. They want distributors with a brick & mortar store,
although, I hear you can get beats real cheap from China,Lol! :typing:

I was kidding about the China thing, I doubt that the guy selling on the link you posted has genuine beats,
as I stated above, luxury brands like beats, rolex, CHI, and many others don't want their products sold on eBay. I run into a lot of wholesalers that will not deal with me if I tell them my primary business is selling on eBay, They like to see a real physical retail store. That guy selling beats is claiming he orders "So Big" that they don't have room for retail boxes. Bull $hit. he's selling Phakes . see how long his ebay account lasts......

Beats like apple have limits to the amount you can sell.

Its one of the WORST things you can sell on eBay AND paypal. If you sell any amount above 5 I'm sure you will get a limitation from at least one if not both of them.

That's what happens when you sell these types of items on eBay.

People think just because eBay doesn't have list of items you can't list you can list anything you want, and thats just simply NOT the case.

It is interesting how so many sellers or potential sellers are singly focused on the electronics sales and those high risk items. To be honest, most people who make money on eBay now from my experience aren't selling those kind of items. They are going to liquidation auctions buying items by the pallet. Just my observations. To each their own.

There tons of this stuff at TaoBao. Phakes, of course. Profit is very high, as well as the risk. Best ones cost about 40 usd, and are done exactly the same as the originals.

two things give it away real quick on where this seller gets their inventory from.

1. Seller is from Malaysia
2. Read their negative feedback

That's because many, many people are not really interested in building a long term business. They just want some quick cash without putting in a lot of wok and they don't care if they're scamming buyers. They're part of the reason why eBay is paranoid about sellers.

Profit margins are MUCH lower on legitimate products... Even with good working capital... Its hard to compete by price, however customer service is a big difference maker... I am hardly ever lowest price, but get more sales then lower priced competitors... I did take a good 3-4yrs to get that way though.... Spread sales too!

I have had some products in hand 2-3yrs until re-sellers demand died down or they stopped producing the product in order to make money.

Write out a good minimum 1yr business plan to start.

Absolutely Correct, Phakes make it hard on everyone,

I just checked that sellers site. I'm surprised he's still going with hundreds of sales of beats already & a very young account.
