has anyone ever gotten a suspended account back ? .. read please
almost 2 years ago my " real " account was suspended for 2.5 % below standard on communication
long story short
originally canada account , changed to USA account and then had 2 out of 4 transactions in a month give me 1 star on communication (* the buyers admitted they got confused and thought 1 was good and 5 was bad ) ... apparently when you change country currency its like the account starts over
GLobal i was above standard
USA i was below standard because i only had 4 transactions and 2 of the 4 in that first month had issues .....
i was suspended and i just moved on ... after 2 years of using different accounts, and stealth accounts ... i wish i could just have one account and not worry about it ....
it doesnt hurt to atleast try and get the old real account back .... any tips ?
its like urban legend hearing about some people getting their accounts back ... has anyone every gotten a account back .... ? |

Only way is to e-mail or phone in and negotiate - no real tips...try and hope but really, not worth a lot of time being spent |

| Yes....over half a dozen times.
Just call them and try to manipulate the rep into re-instating you. There's no magic words to say, just feel it out and tell them how you've learned from the experience and want to try selling on eBay again...if they tell you the suspension is permanent, hang up and call again. Keep doing this until you get a yes....or until you get 3 nos. I give up after getting 3 nos on a suspension overturn. |

It is not a myth and used to happen but most of the methods used are no longer available as far as I know. I think someone worked out the email system used by ebay and started emailing people higher up to get answers but not sure how well that works anymore.

But you have to read through all the woe is me stuff as I can't recall where the advice started. You never know there may be some of it still possible. |

It is possible to appeal a suspension, depending what the reason for suspension was.
There is nothing to lose by calling in at this point. The account is worthless if you don't get the limitation appealed. Worst case scenario, you waste an hour of your life. |

Phone calls with eBay have never lasted me more than 10 minutes....if you're talking to a rep for an hour, you're doing something wrong. |

I've never been against calling in on a suspended account, you have nothing to lose. I am against calling in on perfectly good accounts that can wind up suspended after calling.
