When is the IP tracked

Hi guys

just wondering is your IP only tracked by eBay once you log in?

To my understanding every time a page refreshes or changes the IP is pulled.

When ever new data is loaded from eBay or PayPals servers the IP will be recorded.

I always sume the worst no matter what - in other words dont take ANY chances and assume that ANYTHING you do triggers the pull of your IP address information.

anytime you are logged into ebay. Every click, etc...

Whenever you are online on their site.

Like JamesNorth stated....however once you log in then the IP becomes associated with the account

What do they store it against if its also when you're not logged in

Even if you are not logged into your eBay account but your using the same browser that you use for your eBay account they can easily link to two through cookies.
