How to Check if old ebayaccount is suspended
 

Hello,

I know it sounds stupid but I cannot remember if my old eBay account is suspended.

I no longer have access to the email account that was connected to it. I stopped doing ebay in favor of Amazon, but I don't think it was because i was suspended but I have a sinking feeling something went sour.

It has 599 feedback and was opened in 2005 if not before

What can I do? Just try to log in and see what happens?

I have access to VPN and or other router so that is not any issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Ha, Ha

Just logged in, had to reset the password, etc.

I should have known. I owe them some cash about 300 bucks. Not sure why I didn't remember that.

Anyway, it says it's been charged off, but it has a box to click to pay.

Anyone know if they will give me back selling privileges when I pay the outstanding amount?

Or will they just take their cash and give me the finger?

the strange things is, I can't go in and update my email but when I clicked on sell something it takes me to the selling page and starts me off to make a listing, LOL

Not sure if I should try and list. eBay has me as a non-registered account

check your email, usually there will be email from ebay if the account is banned. Happened to me before.

Why you just can't check email?
Just type in search "ebay" it will find all messages and just scroll and search for some email which states about limitation.

I have not used the account for at least 5 maybe six years so the email account that I was using then (not gmail) has been long deactivated. Thus, can't go back to find any old emails.

I believe it was just due to non-payment of fees. Not sure how much they limit an account when that occurs.

It hasn't allowed me to change any data, like update to a new email, address etc.

The eBay messaging system won't deliver anything up either.

I may just try to list something and see what happens.

There is no guarantee that Ebay will re-instate your account after you pay.

Usually right before you can actually list they say that you have an outstanding balance that you need to pay.

And if your ebay account was "put on hold" due to non-payment of fees then your account should be fine no gaurentee though.

But if your account was suspended for other reasons there is a high chance of you not being re-instated.
