Buying using Entropay
 

Today I am having problems buying using an Entropay Card attached to Paypal.

It appears Entropay is being declined due to the Billing address not being made available or simply not being available as an option to purchase items with.

It was working fine for me yesterday.

Can anyone comment on this please?

They must be losing a lot of business because of this.

It looks like they have updated their Checkout systems today, that could have something to do with it.

UPDATE

I think this may be an issue I am having on one account. I have spent a fair bit on this one account using Entropay.

Tried on another account and all is fine.

No one is believing me, I said 3 weeks ago there was issue, and I told you that paypal was starting to change their ways because of ebay split, but everyone thought i was crazy. SMH

I have now bought multiple items on another account now with no problem.

On my first EBay/Paypal Account I cannot checkout with the linked Paypal Account now. It tried to find my Billing Address on Public Records, which obviously failed as I was using Entropay.

I have spent some money on stuff abroad in US Dollars using this Paypal Account recently. (Not through EBAy) Pretty sure that is the issue. I cannot buy anything on this EBay Account unless I use a Credit Card without Paypal, or it gives me the option of using another Paypal Account. Which obviously I will not use.

I personally think I have tripped additional security. Can't be bothered calling. I have never seen anything like this in 6 years of buying on EBay.

Actually thinking about it, this is one of these situations where you ring EBay and they say, "Oh you need to speak to Paypal."

You then call Paypal, and they say, "you need to speak to EBay."

The Paypal account in question is still in operation, fully verified, I can make withdrawals etc.....

It must be causing both organizations issues as they are not "one" any more.

Buying items using Entropay on an account, I had issues end of July with it as well.

What's interesting is that buying through that particular PP Account is no longer an option. Even if I wanted to choose a Bank Account or alternative Visa Card. (Which I wouldn't)

It could be a glitch due to an over zealous security protocol.

The item I wanted to buy was only about £30. However as I say, I spent a fair bit through PP in USD last week which I believe has tripped it.

I was in the exact same situation as you.
Wait for a day or two and it should be sorted out automatically if not just call them up paypal and they will fix it for you. :)

Nope, I was trying to buy a gtx 980 ti online via paypal, didn't use eBay. The paypal(stealth) is about 4 months old, I had to call them up and they fixed the issue for me.
Did you try it again? Did it work for you this time?

This issue has now resolved itself, and I have successfully bought using this account today.

Must have been a glitch.

Anytime I buy on amazon using entropay I'm getting AVS email. Anyone else?

Don't buy with the Entropay card then.... use the Entropay to buy the Amazon Gift Card then spend the AZ gift card.

Paypal recieves pictures of what your selling
 

I had a dormant paypal had one limited two weeks ago decided to use the dormant I make designer inspired jewelry, but I don't use designers words only like pearl and gold necklace. Had one sell for $64 then the paypal account got limited and im like the only way that could happen if there system is set up now to receive pictures of what you sell. Called them and yes its confirm they do. So that's it good old days are gone.

well i have been playing around with entropay the last week or so,
and it seems some card numbers do not work with the guest checkout, you have to delete it and create another, eventually you get one that works.

no idea why, but you also randomly get declines if you have a 'pending balance' on the entropay card to.
