Default VERY frustrated with Ebay

I made a post a week ago and the problem has not gone away. I have an account that is 12 years old. I have sold 80 items and almost $5K in sales. I sold 23 items in the past two weeks. All payments are being held. I have called Ebay, spoken to several managers and they keep telling me they will manually remove the pending holds. Two of which were delivered a week ago and the funds are still on hold. WTH is going on?

I have another account with the same problem. I reached the 25 item, 90 day threshold. I sold two items, no holds. I sold two more, two more holds. I called and they said they would release the funds, but they are not yet. On both they keep telling me I graduated from the "funds availability" program and they don't know why they are being held. What gives here?

Maybe they increased the thresholds without telling you? The 25 items/90 is in my opinion a guideline, you have to go above and beyond 25 items sold. From my experience, 21 day holds go away around 80-100 items sold with the account aged 90 days +.

that's because the system in placed a.k.a. bots are independent and the reps have no control over them, hence they don't know or just pretend not to know. this is how it is... understand the bots, understand eBay.

I am just grateful I can sell on eb and make some extra money 21 day hold or not. Usually my funds get released 3 days after delivery. I use USPS 1st class through eb with tracking.

The 25 item 90 day thing is just a basic minimum requirement. It doesnt mean that once you hit it automatically get those holds removed.
As others have said keep selling and those limits will go away - likely sooner rather than later.

Even though you are required to wait 90 days after first sale, you sometimes need to wait a little longer(maybe another couple of weeks) or there might be an issue with your account, you would probably need to talk to paypal about it and ask them for a detailed explanation.

Much agreed. I am just happy to sell on eBay and get paid. Even if it takes some time. Other services like Amazon have a 15 day payment cycle. The more selling activity you have and positive transactions the more freedom they will give you. I have always been it in it for the long haul. Not a take the money and run type of person.

Trust me there are hundreds of people on this site just wishing they could sell no matter how long it takes to finally get the payout.

Holds can be instituted regardless of age - it's annoying but just continue with the good service and wait it out
