Selling the same item - different accounts
 

Is it okay to sell the same item over multiply accounts.

Should I make sure the listings are different and photos?
Or is this something eBay don't seem to check / worry about?

BIN + Best offer (vary this from the other account(s)
New images
Don't offer the same delivery methods either. Mix it up

everything ideally, don't risk potentially being linked.

I sell the same item on multiple accounts. Remember to change the photos and clean the photos of all personal data! I also mix the prices up. I've never had an issue.

Don't use same images nd other obvious stuff and you should be fine. Defo don't get confused with the ip, merely logging in for one second from the same ip will link your accounts and if one goes down, so will the other, talking from personal experience.

Yes, do take some small precautions as for some reason buyers and sellers love reporting to ebay. I think it makes them feel good and warm inside

It is probably not the safest thing to do but I admit I do it myself. Definitely different pictures, different style listings and descriptions. Also do a few things to vary the account by throwing some oddball items that differentiate it. It pretty much common sense just try to step back and ask yourself if these two accounts look like the same person.

Agreed, pics with exit date removed, I have one main account at the moment and 2 smaller ones, one of the smaller accounts sells slightly similar items but much cheaper versions of those items, different packaging and labels when I post out on that smaller account, different backgrounds and lighting for those pics as well, different feedback comments left for those buyers on that account as well.

You use different packaging and labels, for shipping? Why?

I would guess that if he sells a unique item he (she) might face same customers buying from both accounts. It happened to me with items that I sell which are pretty unique. Not sure how, but I noticed the same user buying from account x when 2 weeks later she bought from my other stealth. Now if I use same return address for both packages... Well too many things should happened for it to go wrong. And most likely no one would notice nor care about it, but it can happen.
