Default $1.00 items not counting towards listing limit?

So on a couple new accounts ebay are not counting my $1.00 sales towards my
usual 10 listings limit per month. After listing 10 it still says i can list 10

Seems they are catching on to sellers/me trying to get higher limits and lose the 21 day hold with low priced items.

I usually sell a bunch of junk then 1 expensive item to get past the 21 day hold requirements.

Never heard of that before, been selling 99p items in the UK that have counted towards my limits.

Personally I have not had that problem.

Maybe a glitch - recently, in UK (i know you are not uk but) I have experienced a few glitches which fixed up a few days later.

Sounds like the category has no limits. Business and Industrial are the same way.

Don't look at the limits look at your total transactions at the bottom of your seller dashboard because as mentioned certain categories do not have limits but will count as a transaction

Also, eBay Motors (selling a car or other vehicle) has no item nor dollar amount limit. Just in case anyone wanted to sell their car on a 10 item, $500 account (not recommended)

Wait "listing" limit and "category" limit are 2 different things...?

I have a listing limit of 10 and I'm listing more than 10 items..

Yes, for example, Industrial and business have no limits at all. You are welcome to list and sell as many industrial supplies as your heart can handle.
It makes sense that catering supplies would be the same way.

Now try listing 6 apple iPhones or 11 advertising signs and you will get no love.
