Link existing paypal account link temporary error?
 

Ok, so I just created a new acct, and as i am trying to link it to the existing paypal acct, it goes to a page where it assumes you are going to create a new pp acct. But I already created the pp acct that is 80% now, and I just want to link it. When I fill in the information, pp tells me that this email address is already created, but if i were to click on the link existing pp acct, it does not take me to that page where you just enter your pp password, click the return to ebay link. Instead, it is the same as the create pp acct page within ebay. Anyone have this same problem?

What would be best is if anyone of you guys have the link to that page I am talking about, post it here, and maybe I can access it directly. Thx.

Well, I fixed my own problem. Something was wrong with firefox I think. For a short while, I couldn't even access the paypal website, but when I use internet explorer, it worked. I was even able to link my ebay with my paypal with internet explorer. There must be some cookie that screwed up somewhere in firefox. Now it seems to work on both browsers.

I use primarily Explorer and Chrome - sometimes Firefox only to check eBay messages since it seems to load faster for eB

i hoped your experience with switching browsers will help me, but no, i was using chrome initially, tried i.e. and firefox, neither worked.

In the end I used a credit card to make the listing instead of PayPal. I was using Chrome portable

I did the same thing here as well, opened it with a credit card instead and it gave me the same error. But when I used internet explorer, it worked.

This happened to a lot of people lately, it was probably just a glitch with ebay

Well, got the same problem again, created an ebay acct, and now trying to link to my existing pp acct, and I get this page:

Anyone know how to actually link your new pp acct with your new eb acct? It's assuming that I don't have a pp acct, but if you click on a link that says link current pp acct, it should ask you to put in your password for your current pp acct right! Jeez, this is getting kind of annoying. This time, changing the browser doesn't even work.
