Alternatives to a credit card on ebay for selling?
I know ebay wants a credit card on file for returns and fees and the such, but is there a way to avoid this for sellers? Like, would a bank-account verified paypal suffice? Does the paypal need both a bank account and credit card on file? Or is a credit-card-verified paypal all that's necessary(Would paypal be verified with just a credit card?)? Trying to figure out the most cost effective way to setup multiple seller accounts.

Re: Alternatives to a credit card on ebay for selling?
Oh, it just seemed like that since ebay was really complaining when my credit card on file expired (Was unable to create new listings until I placed a CC on file.). I guess having a CC on file with paypal is all that's needed? Huh, I never knew that.

from my personal experience all you need is a credit card for paypal to verify it, nothing else is required necessarily, you don't even need a credit card for eBay.
You can use a credit card to verify your paypal account, which is mandatory before you start selling otherwise you might get 0/0 selling limits.
Re: Alternatives to a credit card on ebay for selling?
You can use a credit card to start selling on eBay, but eventually eBay will ask to have a verified PayPal attached to begin selling in certain categories.
We have ran into that issue several times when we use a credit card as a funding option rather than PayPal with the credit card on the account.
