How many stealth accounts do you have?
 

How many stealth accounts do you own and operate?

I understand that most people here sell items that are higher in cost and lower in volume b/c of the 200/20k Paypal. However, my business is low cost, high volume. So the traditional stealth account setup doesn't work for my business. That's why I am setting up a smaller number of LLC accounts that are actually in my real name- but with phony addresses.

So here's my question- say you have 50-100 actual stealth accounts with all phony info. Is there anyway you could even operate that many accounts? If so, how would you withdraw the money since that number of bank accounts doesn't seem reasonable to obtain and maintain.

I am close to the same method of business as you. I have approx 10 stealth accounts.

Do you run them as LLC's/business accounts so you can go over the 200/20k threshold?

100 bank accounts is not overly a big deal.

I have burned though more than 100 stealth accounts this year. I usually run 10 at a time. 20 is not much harder if you have good systems.

Also, it seems the majority of members sell volumes of affordable items like yourself. Not a lot of us sell higher dollar items because paypal issues of stealth accounts can occur. Invoices, ID request etc...

I have about 60 accounts. About 3-4 are in trouble now.

I usually don't sell over $300 for a single transaction.

But I'm still doing just fine and steadily growing :d

I have 16 active accounts and 4 semi-active. Banks accounts are no big deal, you can sue multiple banks. I have 6 accounts at each bank. Then there is the wife, the kids, etc.

And you CAN have high volume stealth accounts. It is not impossible. I have several approaching $5k per month in gross sales.

I remember when I had 8 stealth accounts and I gave up on half of them so quick,they're very time consuming for me, I was a student and printing orders and answering all the messages took me about 4 hours.

As a US member I will say the 200 transaction 20k is an issue. Personally I have a main account with an EIN then I run about a dozen stealth accounts.

I really play my stealth account by ear because with 200/20k if you get like two negatives is can basically kill and account for an entire year if you are someone who tries to play it safe. If I get bad feedback I try to blow out all my damaged or junk or loose items to just use the account and hopefully get rid of some things. Low risk, unlikely to have a problem. Hopefully padd the feedback and DSRs a bit.

The people that run 50 to 100 or more accounts, they are much more tech savy than me. I am still kind of stuck in the 2005-10 technology world. I use a combination of VPN's and Public WiFi (not recommended) actually but with the 200/20k sometimes you have to. My average sale is between $30-80 dollars. So you do what you must.

As long as you figure out a certain routine and get good at it, switching between accounts is not THAT difficult. It all comes down to your own personal abilities, time and how good are you are keeping track at everything.

There are ways with certain programs like VMware where you could easily juggle 5-10 accounts at once, so its not THAT difficult to expand the operation and take the total number of account to 50 or more.

I remember when I first started I decided to get good at ONE account, then two and then three, before I try and expand. To go from 1 stealth to 50 is difficult, but to go from 1 to 5 is not very different and then from 5 to 15 is not that difficult either. Difference between 15 and 50 is just numbers and once you hit 50, 100 is just a bit more work.

Don't try to do TOO MUCH all at once, take it steady.

I personally keep 5 accounts active, with another 5-10 being "built" in case I need them(You always need back-up accounts, we all know that) but only because I don't feel the need to have any more accounts. I can easily sell on 5 accounts because they all have decent limits. If I have more stock, I can always expand my operations and build on the solid foundation.

UK and US are different, I get it, but the theory of operating multiple stealths remains the same.

I have like 5 accs of different maturity active, if one of them dies - I instantly create a couple more. No need to have like 20 - 30 accs, I do not have such many different items.

I live in the City....I only see about 10 stars...the rest are police helicopters.

Well, currently I am in the most populated state and about 40 miles from a big city so I can see hundreds but when up north, an uncountable amount of stars.

My account history is strong on most of these accounts so I think they let it slide. Most go back before 2010 and have at-least a 1000 feedback. If I was selling in high risk categories or on accounts without quite a bit of history I would do it differently. My newer stealths are always VPN from a server I haven't had any problems with all these years.

I have about 70, currently utilizing 10, the rest are aging /slowly selling.

What do you mean risk of linking? It is stealth and stealth tactics. Your statement is like saying how can there be millions of accounts on ebay...

I was once in your exact position about 2 years ago...

Now I have quite a bit of accounts. Im a low-med item cost, high volume seller. My current project im building is going to use more accounts than my first project.

Reasonable to obtain and maintain... if this your excuse holding you back then you better overcome that excuse otherwise i dont think this will be for you. Theres way to make this easy to maintain.

At the end of the day, its possible for low cost high volume seller to operate in stealth.

I have slightly over 60 Accounts that I sell on frequently.

Then about 175 Accounts that are on the back burner aging.

Hello all! Same story, I was selling up to powerseller status and all of a sudden i got banned with no explanation, old account too, 2005.

How many accounts can you run from 1 windows pc and 1 ip address? As u can see i'm new to this.

What would be the ideal equipment\method to run 10 accounts?
