Questions before making more accounts

1. VBA's. From my understanding the purpose of a VBA is to confirm paypal and then when the paypal account starts bring in more money, you then attach a real bank account and withdraw. Sort of like a test dummy to avoid losing a real bank account. Is this correct?

2. If I buy a verified paypal (With VCC VBA and Phone), how does the phone part work? I've read where people say pp and ebay should always be able to contact you via phone. So still get a tracphone and add it?

1.) Correct

2.) You have to ask your seller. Every seller builds accounts differently.

Well I mean just verified paypal. I know some sellers sell a whole package that includes a real actual phone. But when it's only been verified with the number, and I don't have access to that number, should I add a track phone?

The problem with Paypal is that sometimes you may need to have access to the phone, you can Add another phone number if you wish but when considering buying/making your accounts you should make sure you have access to the original number you used to sign up with with PayPal.

Like I said, every seller is diffferant. Some build with track phone and will mail them to you as example. Others use phone apps and can give you access. Some use google voice etc...

You need to determine what your account seller offers and go from that point.

If I add a second number, I can remove the first or just choose the second as primary. Would that work?

Some US sellers will ship you the original tracfone

I also want to emphasize the importance of having access to the original phone number used during signing up with Paypal to avoid the "this device is not registered to your name" problem. This problem occurs when you try to change the phone number originally registered with Paypal. Paypal hates changes is all I can say....

Is it really THAT bad to change a phone number on an account? I've always been advised to change a number within 5 days of getting an account...

Changing a phone number on an account is NOT as bad as people make out. There is tonnes of information that is posted on this forum that puts users off of actually doing things which is perfectly fine or just because someone thinks a method is going to be exposed.

E.g. Someone will want you to tell them the name of a VCC that works fine with UK or US Amazon and if you don't put it on an Internet forum then it's 'hear say' or it's not true. Just an example.

Changing a phone number is fine but if you don't want to sort one out a U.S. seller will ship the tracfone so I see.
