New Legit Account - Is VPS Location a problem?
 

Hi, I'm creating a new legit eBay and PayPal account, both registered in my friends name and address details (has allowed me to as she has no interest in the sites), so the accounts will be legit but I will open them and access them with a VPS, as I have previously had accounts suspended from my IP address.

My questions are: Will the location of the VPS IP address be a problem? As I am in one part of the country, but I think the the IP address of my VPS is located at the other end of the country, will this be a problem when registering the accounts?

Also would I need to use a new computer for the new accounts?

as long as it is in the country of registration, location doesn't matter

Yes ebayerOG is correct, only need to worry about country matching specific location is irrelevant, as long as you have a good provider for VPS youll be good to go

Thanks for the help guys. Would I need to use a new computer for the new accounts? I worry if any downloaded files or anything from my past accounts could cause problems for the new accounts.

No need for a new PC. You just need to set up a new windows user account on your computer.

Depending on your ISP you dont need a VPS either. If your IP is dynamic (changes when the router is reset) then that would do fine.

I wouldn't want to risk linking it to other accounts in the household belonging to family members, so would have to use a VPS. I use a Macbook, not sure if its possible to create new user profiles, but if there is a way, would that work fine on the Mac? Thanks

No worries about location. You should be good. When your really good you can get an ip from another country and still get away with it.
