Transferring Ebay account from one country to another
 

Hi.

Does anybody have experience of transferring Ebay account from one country to another? From ebay.de to ebay.com, for example.

Let's imagine situation: I live in Germany and have verified ebay.de account there and then move to USA. The fist time I log in to my account from US I change my address, billing currency and so on. Will ebay require to provide any documents or something else?
What about selling limits? Will they stay the same as they used to be on ebay.de?

eBay wouldn't ask for any documents, just say that you moved country.

I tried this once, it involved customer service being contacted, I decided against it as I didn't want scrutiny on my account

I was told in the past it can't be done and I'd have to start a new account.

This was years ago though.
