Pnc Virtual Wallet. # Seperate Accounts
 

Talked to a representative today on chat and this is what they told me:

"Your name must be listed as the recipient of the funds, in order for them to deposit into your account. If another's name is listed, the deposit would be declined. Unless they are also listed as a joint owner on the account. "

I don't know if this is something new, because I've read forums where members say the virtual wallet works ( http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...uggestion.html ). Has anyone done recent withdrawals to a pnc virtual wallet account from a stealth paypal account?

I've used PNC for pypl many times before with withdrawals and they do NOT decline. So the person that told you that gave you wrong information.

I haven't tried withdrawals with virtual wallet, but I doubt they'll decline. Also, as with most banks, do not bring too much attention to your accounts when it comes to mismatched names because banks like to assume money-laundering with mismatched names and large deposits.

you can't just ask a banker if they accept direct deposits in a different name

of course they're going to say no!

Yeah that's not really a question to ask them (better to ask here). I did a mismatched name withdrawal to one of my accounts within PNC's virtual wallet service as recent as a week ago and it went through fine as always.
