UK Visa Giftcard for eBay Seller fee's and PayPal
 

I'm based in the UK and have opened a new legit eBay and PayPal account. I need to select a payment option for my eBay fee's - Do any of the Via Giftcards here in the UK still work for this? Am I likely to encounter any problems with this? Also would it be OK to add it onto PayPal aswell?

Visa Gift cards will work for this OR you can choose Paypal to pay fees

yes they are. Make sure you register the VISA gift card in the name and address to match the Paypal account info ;)

OK, and finally, do you recommend any? I was looking at the IDT Prime, or are they all pretty much the same? Cheers

Give that one a miss and buy the VISA Gift Card you find in supermarkets like Morrisons, Sainsburys & Tesco.

You will find them in a red packet in denominations of £25 or £50

I've looked online at Tescos and can't see them selling Visa specific gift cards only shop branded specific gift ones, I was using 3V on my stealth PP account, with no problems at all, but they've stopped selling them now, my current one ends in the next few days and I need something very soon, I am at the point that I wont trust entropay as I've lost a previous account after using this service(not sure if it def was because of it but i'm not trusting it whatever) I've checked the local tescos a couple of months ago and they didn't have any Visa ones..any advice will be gratefully recieved..

Bought a gospendit visa one today went to add to paypal and it wont accept it!! any ideas as to where i'm going wrong(card details have been reg all as the same stealth details) any help much appreciated :(

Should be fine adding it to PayPal. If there is one small detail that is different it won't work, check it again.

Thanks for the reply..Thought I would just point out so if others use the GOSPENDIT visa gift card, despite it telling me once i'd activated the card online that the expiry date of the card was 11/17 turns out after a lot of head scratching & swearing that it infact was 10/19 for the expiry.. crazy!! all done and added to PP and confirmed happy bunny :) thanks for the advice given
