Ebay account payments

Has ebay ever over charged?

I swear I only owed ebay 200 dollars and today they took out 400. Invoice shows 670 dollars for that month but I know I never sold that much.
Their account statements are confusing because their pages dont match up to the invoice dates. IE: Aug 15 to sept 15. Statement pages are from aug 1st to Sept 1st.
I dont know. I know I cant even sell 6700 dollars worth of stuff so how is my invoice 670 dollars for that month. I dont buy shipping from ebay either.

I doubt they overcharge because the whole thing is automated.
If you have any doubt you can always go to the 'seller account' section under 'My Ebay' and examine your invoices and the charges made to your account.
If you still cant figure it out give them a call. Im sure they'll be able to clarify it for you.

Different sellers get charged differently, if your top rated you get a discount, if you have a specific eBay shop you get certain amount of listings free with international site visibility.

Many factors play a role.

The account statements are confusing, I totally get where you are coming from.

Re: Ebay account payments

you sure you didn't miss the payment from the previous month?

invoices are monthly, but they request the payment around the 15th.
So what ever your balance was at the end of last month, is what you need to pay on the 15th.

Did you pay the month before?
It adds up to the next month's invoice if you didn't.

YES, but the numbers that he is talking about you'd think that couple of % here or there don't make the invoice jump from 200 to 400 to 670.

I don't want to sound rude(People always say it before they are rude), but if you can't handle a simple monthly invoice... Maybe you should get back to basics and figure it out first?
I mean... REALLY?

Why havent you helped him then?
Seems like you cant handle it

Nope, not really.

NOT REALLY, yes they do clearly you sell maximum one item a month to have a clue. If he gets a return with the buyer requesting a label and he clicks confirm he will be charged 3.99 (default small parcel cost) If he cancels an order through eBay he received the final value fee back from both PayPal and eBay.

If he does it just through PayPal he only receives the money back from PayPal. Clearly you dont know this stuff but its ok you will learn, everyone starts at the bottom ;)

Invoice can jump from 400 to 600, if you have 100 listings and they are due to end when they are automatically relised and you have checked both boxes for subtitle and international visibility that adds at least a £1 with a basic shop, plus the cost of a basic shop.

Once again you clearly sell one item a day to find it so simple

But like I said before ''that's what she said (you'' haha
