5 questions from eBay sent to me.
 

hey there.
Ive purchased a US user from one of the members here.
i have waited 1 week before changing anything (updated only phone number).
For the first 10 days i only walked along eBay, Bidding and Watching diffrent product (Offcourse no winning products).
After i though i have strong Cookies, ive uploaded my first low-risk product.
few days later i wanted to upload another product. but this time i got the message:
"Attention Sellers:
Hi,

Identity verification is required for new sellers who use the listing with variations feature. Verifying your identity provides you with a higher selling limit. You can then use the additional available quantity towards your listing.

To begin verifying your identity, please click on the 'list your item' button at the bottom of this page. "

Pressing continue will ask me few weird question (Like - what of the following card did you own).

What should i do? how can i pass this crap?
Hope for immidiate help, hope not to loose this account.

Was this account made with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info? Or a real persons info? I don't see how they can pull up questions like that if its stealth info...

It is stealth info.. I cant remember the questions, but that was the type.
Offcourse i just closed the window and logged of at the time.

So was this after you changed all the original info or before?
Or did you only change the phone number?

What category were you trying to list in?

I have had this happen before in the past. This is an issue related that your account is not 90 days old hence you get the message. I dont quite remember of how I bypassed it but I think I just waited out the 90 day period and started listing with variations.

Trying listing an item and NOT use the variations feature maybe? :rolleyes:

Hey , Thanks for the interest.
The catagory ive tryed listing on was - Apearel (Not any brand).
Any more ideas or experiance in these kind of case?

For new accounts:

Avoid variations, buy-it-nows, widely counterfeited name-brands and electronics.

Variations will definitely prompt this. And 90 days usually seems like the magic number. This has nothing to do with the account itself. It has to do with the item, the category, or the variation. I would lean towards it being the variation myself.

I know it's from the variation limit. But if the account was really made with stealth info it shouldn't be pulling up those questions?

The questions are pulled from a public database? So if it's stealth info how can the questions be generated?

It still happens.

If you call paypal and they want to check your identity the same thing happens on stealth or not.
