When to list more on Stealth?
 

I have a new stealth account that I purchased a month ago. I listed 9 pairs of socks and have sold 7. I haven't gotten any feedback yet since the first orders were projected to arrive today. When is it okay to list more items - now? wait for feedback? My main items I am selling are collectible trinkets, stainless flatware and some odd items found around the house. Most items are under $50, with a handful in the $100-200 range. I am looking to have eventually open a store on this account. Limits on this account are 1k/25k

You would have to check if there are category limits for those certain items you are selling as those are placed on the items that are high risk. Make sure you check that those items are not VERO. And if you meet those 2 aspects I mentioned, you can list as much as you want but I would still lean towards not going over like 20-30% limit.

25 sales is a relatively good move - I usually bump up sales after 8-12 weeks

Not beung funny, wouldn't want to sound like a stuck record but lol. I max out all my accounts to the EU receiving limit (£1800) in 2-6 weeks of buying them on here.
I've lost 2 ebay accounts out of about 70 and those were lost directly after listing the first item, none lost due to selling too fast, another 2 paypals limited, don't think they were related to listing too fast either though, just because I hadn't withdrawn to bank

I've not got experience with premade accounts, with higher limits but with brand new accounts, this is how I usually list:

List 2 items, sell them.
List 5, ending a week later than the first two should arrive.
List another 3 items, wait for a limit increase.

By doing so, I pretty much guarantee that by the time I list to the 10 item limit, I already have some positive feedbacks and I've always had a nice little first bump to 30 items by doing so.
Then I usually don't list anything for about a week and repeat the same process, but with slightly higher numbers. So instead of going 2/5/3 I go 10/15/5 and by the time I list my last 5 items, I already have enough feedback to either get a 2x icrease or 3x increase on my limits.

With higher limit account I'd probably behave the same way, just maybe up the numbers A BIT, not a lot. Also, try to keep in mind where you want to end up numbers wise- What does your product usually cost and then build to that point.

You might run into problems if you list 25 pairs of socks for 99 cents and then after couple of weeks you are trying to push 300 of something that sits around $50 price range.
When you build your account up, take your time and don't just focus on the qty, but also on the pricepoint where you want to reach.


Thats my take on it, thats how I build my accounts and for now I haven't had any problems. Some people take more risks, as mentioned above, and never run into problems but each category miht be different and if you are in a position where you have the luxury of taking your time, why not do it.
