Worth it to call in?
 

I need my limits to be raised. I am reaching my limits in the first 10 days of the month. My problem is, I do not know the birthday I used for this account. Everything else is legit though. I have my real PP and name and SSn linked

The SSN must match your real birth date and name. If it doesn't then PP rejects it because it doesn't match public record. Read the stealth guide... All details must be different and NEVER put an SSN because using it and a different B-day is asking for trouble. It's called fraud.

Using an SSN with a name that don't match is not Stealth.....Also, you might want to start writing your account info down.

Is this stealth account or regular? Why use all real information and then a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ birthday? Not making much sense.

I made this account when I was very young and decided to use it because it is aged. I just learned about stealth and wish I learned earlier. I know ALL information about the account except my birthday which is not real. I kinda screwed up there. Does anyone have any tips?

Just call in and say the truth and it will work u have the real ss they wont ask for bday

I am wondering what real info he/she used. Oh boy, I dont see this going well at all.

I hope the person you used their info on knows about this. The info can show up on their tax records and they will be in superpooper trouble.

So from my understand is, you used a stealth ebay account and real info paypal account???

If you don't know your birthday, you're risking account closure. Then again, for 10 items, who really cares? Up to you.

I think what OP was saying is they used their real name, address, and SSN but used a different birth date on a PayPal account. He didn't say anything about ebay account.

If that is what info he used their will be a problem if they ever ask you to supply documents to prove who you are. I would create an account with completely stealth info. You would not add a SSN to a stealth account.

Like they said. Tell them the real birthdate and correct it if all is legit.

Say you must have entered the wrong numbers. Happens all the time.

Am I missing something, I don't ever recall entering a birthday on either ebay or paypal. It this only for business account or something ???

nvm: so you don't know the birthday of the SSN you used without permission?

Don't put a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN with name in, i agree with what everyone else is saying

I would just go and create a completely new account if I wanted to sell more. Never ever ever put a ssn in. Ever.

Hey there. Sorry for the slow reply and clarification. My limit is 100/5000 right now and I would like to increase it. I have the correct information on my paypal account linked with ssn and bank, but my EBAY account has the wrong DOB. I am mostly wondering if they will ask for DOB on my ebay account when my PP account has the real DOB and SSN linked.

so many factors here... ie what your selling... your performance level... your ability to talk... etc etc the choice is up to you... most times they don't ask for bday tho but never say never :peace:

I've been asked for the birthday the past 2 of 3 times calling in...

If they ask for the birthday and you don't know it, just say you have an important work phone call that you're receiving and need to end the call with eBay and just end it lol
