Ebay account selling limit
 

So paypal need my ein number because I'm in a 200/$20,000 limit. My decision was to let go of that account and make a new ebay and stealth account. I dont want to pay any penny just to save that account when I can just make a new account and start again without paying any single penny. My question is when you first open an account how much item/selling limit did you get? Mine was 10/$1000 and my other account is 50/$5000. thanks.

5/500 but I got a tax ID number request for 1 of my stealth accounts on 8/11 and then again on 9/14. I have never submitted tax ID information and the account is still operating normally today. I have sold a couple dozen items on the account since the first request.

Initially you may get 5/500 in most accounts, in some 0/0. For few accounts having 5000/100, they asked me 3 times, I never submitted and still my account is running fine. Pls let me also know if I am doing ok or not.

Also I dont think the paypal tax ID request has anything to do with limit on your ebay account.

5/500 is what I got. Not sure how to get higher the that.

I haven't noticed a rhyme or any reason to getting seller accounts upgraded. Just luck I think.
