If I list on EBay.co.uk and my listings also appear on EBay.Com through the International Visibility option, can the EBay.com site see my IP address?

I figure the answer is no, but just checking.

Ofcourse they can 'see' it but I don't see how that matters, why exactly are you worried about that?

Just a technical question regarding tracking.

Yes eBay can infact see your IP, regardless of whether it's .com or .co.uk because at the end of the day eBay is still eBay :d

I think to clarify my point:

If I am logged into Ebay.co.uk & not EBay.Com.

Can only the UK site see my IP?

Even though my listings may appear on the .com site.

As I have not logged on to the .com site, that site cannot see my IP?

I hope that makes sense, this is purely a case of keeping my tracking knowledge up to speed.

I like to keep one step ahead of these parasites.

Both sites know about your IP, they use the same database for KYC, which is quite logical.

eBay.co.uk and eBay.com are practically the same website with the same database and tracking methods. So both of .co.uk and .com can see your ip. GreenBean is a girl? Didn't know that.
