Seller Unresponsive to return request, but left address
 

I recently did a return request and automatically got the seller's return address. Do I just ship the item back to them and be done with it? I am looking for the cost of shipping the item back to them because the description was not accurate at all. However the seller does not appear to respond to messages at all. Do I get ebayed involved?

Choice is totally up to you. Either way you will get your money back + return shipping costs. Have some good karma going your way and give the seller a day or 2 to respond. With ebay/paypal you literally have an eternity to ship the item back for a refund.

That depends on what type of return he opened. Don't just jump to conclusions that he will get return shipping costs back.

What if seller's address has changed? eBay will give the seller a few weeks to respond otherwise you can claim your refund.

You need absolutely 0 negotiation skills to get your shipping costs returned even if you pick the wrong type of return. That is the last thing i ever worry about.

no, no. I mean the cost of shipping the item back to the seller, not the original cost of shipping it to me. I know I'll get that back.

wow, i just asked ebay to step in after waiting 5 days +2 more, and then get an auto response saying, "You are not authorized to perform this action at this time." It's two days past ebays own prescribed deadline for the seller to get back to me. I'm just trying to get a return shipping label to ship my item back to the seller.

This exact same thing happened to me last night when I tried to "ask ebay to step in". Some sort of glitch, because it let me escalate it this morning.

Why would they give you return shipping costs, for buyers remorse?
